No. 2100 c. 1860s/70s Bone "Leopard" Pattern Lace Bobbin: Inlaid pewter nail heads form the "leopard" pattern - there is a little corrosion around the dot on the lower right of the bobbin otherwise in excellent used condition. Nice turning on the shaft. Has the original glass spangles consisting of square and round beads with the square beads showing the original crimping marks. 8.8cm long. Price: $68.00.

No. 267 c. 1850s/60s David Haskins' Bone Lace Bobbin: Has the name "Sarah" inscribed in dots on one side with banding at top and bottom of the bobbin shaft. Has the original spangles consisting of square, round and cylindrical glass beads. The square beads have the original crimping pattern on their surface. In very good used condition - no chips. 9.5cm long. SOLD

No. 2109 c. 1983 Springett (UK) Melbounre AGM Bone Lace Bobbin: Has in green and red dots "MELBOURNE '83" on one side and "LACE AGM" on the other. Commissioned by the Lace Guild from David Springett in the UK. Lovely crystal bottom bead and round coloured glass beads. In excellent unused condition. 9.5cm long. Price: $45.00.

No. 2101 c.1850s/60s Bone "Tiger" Lace Bobbin: Inlaid pewter bands form the "Tiger" pattern. Original glass spangles in round, square and cylindrical glass beads. The square beads show the original crimping marks. The bottom bead is a particularly nice white bead with a swirl of dark colour through it. In excellent used condition. 8.7cm long. Price: $75.00.

No. 2105 c. 1860s/70s Fruit Wood "Leopard" Lace Bobbin: Inlaid pewter dots form the "Leopard" design. In very good used condition. Original crimped square and round glass beads. The bottom bead is a teal blue with white dots. 9.7cm long. Price: $65.00.

No. 4272 c.1850s/60s "Leopard" Bone Lace Bobbin: Carved dots in the shaft have been stained in blue and red to form the leopard pattern on this bone bobbin. This head and neck shape made by Jesse Compton (see "Success to the Lace Pillow" by C&D Springett).
